PRINCIPLE AND ADVANTAGES
The technique of super-critical extraction , a advanced technical coming forth presently, is a new subject in the field of the modern chemical separating industry, which is applied widely to the field of extracting substance from plant.

2.FEATURES
1)Continuous process of extraction. Instead of adopting the method of extracting discontinuously, working in a continuous way, this instrument is more effective then before.
2)automatically assemble and un-assemble material. The process of assembling and un-assembling material from the bottom of the instrument to extraction kettle is controlled by computer.
3)Accurate extraction pressure. The extraction pressure is controlled by computer, CO2 injection pump traces the extraction pressure automatically in a way of frequency modulation, which made precision of extraction pressure be controlled in a steady condition required
4)High efficiency of the usage of CO2. The loop designed in the instrument utilizes CO2 circularly, which reduces release of CO2 greatly.
5)A new method of fluid spreading around adopted makes the fluid (CO2 ) contact with solute evenly, which speeds solution, reduces time of extraction greatly, and increases production ultimately.
6)Accurate temperature controlling. Both the kettle and the fine distillation pole have temperature measurement and temperature controlling system, which controls the "the heat inertia" which leads the temperature to go up or go down after the electrical source supplying for heating being cut off.
7)There is no big noise when it is working, the gas can be let out with little noise in a short time.
Component
1. Gas source
CO2 bottled in a metal vessel remain the pressure in 5-6Mpa. The gas should be filtered to get rid of the impurity inside.
2. Refrigeration
This part is composed by refrigeration compressor, store kettle, cold tank fixed with screwy voluminous tube, temperature control unit , tube and values etc. the core system of the refrigeration adopts the compressor made in France
store kettle:20L/16MPa, store liquid CO2, quantity 3 sets.
3. Source of power
Include host pump, auxiliary pump, and Set for mix.
4. Purifying and filtering system
Purifying set:pressure 40MPa, volume 0.8 L. quantity 1set.
filter:pressure 20MPa, volume 5 L, quantity 1set.
Set for mix:pressure 40MPa, volume 3 L, quantity 1set.
5. Extraction kettle
Volume 24 L, the highest pressure 40MPa, the highest temperature 85ˇć, quantity 4 sets
6. Segregator
Volume 30L, the highest pressure 30MPa, quantity 3 sets,
7. Flow gage:including metal tube floater flow gage and class rotor flow gage
a. The metal tube floater flow gage (quality flow gage) : measurement ranges from 60-600L/h . It mainly measures the flux of CO2, in the mean time ,indicate instantaneous flux and cumulate flux.
b class rotor flow gage: measurement ranges from 6-600L/h.
8. Temperature control system
The system is composed of a temperature control set, a temperature senor, a heating tank etc. Setting the temperature by the temperature control set, collecting the temperature of extraction and the temperature of separation by computer.
9. Pressure control system
This system is composed of pressure sensors, and pressure meters etc. It includes 5 pressure sensors, 7 pressure meters, 4 extraction vessel & stock pot, and 3 separators. In addition, there are 2 electrode which respectively protects metal vessel and driver source when pressure is too high. The tank gas gage precision class is 1.5, measurement range is 60MPa, Separator tank gas gage precision class is 0.4, measurement range 40MPa
10. Automatic control, data collection, data transaction and data store system
Controlling by a computer, the whole process is automatic when the super-critical extraction is running, which includes assembling or un-assembling material , controlling the time of extraction, controlling the extraction pressure, collecting and storing the data such as the extraction pressure , extraction temperature, separation pressure and separation temperature, and collecting flux data.
11. Protection when temperature overrun or pressure overrun
The apparatus has the capability of self-protection of temperature overrun or pressure overrun. When the temperature measured exceeds the temperature settled , the temperature control system will cut off the power for heating. In the same way, when the pressure measured reaches the pressure settled, the pressure control system will cut off the power for heating, and the pump stop working. In addition, safety valves are installed on the extraction vessel and the separator, which will be open to decrease the pressure when pressure inside exceeds what settled to prevent the instrument from damage.
